The Island School Golf Shootout, 2023!

Golf Shootout

Scheduled for February 9, 2022, at the fabulous Gasparilla Golf Club, this event will offer golfers 18 chances to win $10,000 – and 18 golfers a chance for $1,000,000. Plus, one golfer will win $10,000 Cash – Guaranteed.

Event details:

  • The Gasparilla Golf Club will be set up as all Par 3 holes – a challenging round in under 4 hours!
  • A hole in one will win $10,000 on any hole, 18 chances to win – multiple winners are allowed on each hole!
  • The 18 golfers closest to the pin during the event qualify for the $1,000,000 Shootout.
  • Special prizes awarded to the 18 golfers who qualify for the $1,000,000 Shootout.
  • Every golfer in the Shootout will have a chance to win $1,000,000.
  • All 18 Shootout Qualifiers will take one more shot from 100 yards. The golfer closest to the pin wins $10,000 – GUARANTEED.
  • We will play 6-person teams in a scramble format. Prizes for the first place men’s and women’s teams are awarded. Teams cost $3,600.
  • All golfers and sponsors are invited to a cocktail reception following the golf event.
  • 12:30 Tee-off, Registration opens at 11:00 am.

About the School

The Island School is a multiage charter school for grades K-5 in Boca Grande, Florida. It was founded and approved by the Lee County School Board in 2000. Its purpose is to educate the children whose parents live or work in the community of Boca Grande on Gasparilla Island, a small barrier island in the Gulf of Mexico.
