    Hurricane Make-up Day. If school is closed due to a hurricane, this day will become a school day. If we do not close school due to a hurricane, this day will be a day off for students and staff.

  • Scholastic Book Fair

    Join us September 15th - 19th for our annual Scholastic Book Fair. Students are welcome to shop before school from 7:45-8:15 am or after school from 3:00-3:30 pm. All students must be accompanied by a parent during these times.

  • Vision Screening

    The Island School Boca Grande, FL, United States

    Center for Sight is working with The Island School to provide free vision screenings for all students. Screening tests are not diagnostic but may point to potential problems and to the need for further medical evaluation. No treatment is administered as part of the program. Opt-out forms will be emailed home before the screenings.  

  • Professional Day – No School – Fun Day Available

    A Fun Day is available from 8:30 am - 5:30 pm. All participants must be registered in advance (no drop-ins). Please follow this link to register your child. This is a separate fee from the After-School Program fee. If you have any questions, please call the school at (941) 964-8016.
